Guwahati - Gateway to Assam


Our adventure begins in Guwahati, the bustling gateway to Assam and the largest city in the region. We start our exploration with a visit to the revered Kamakhya Temple, a sacred pilgrimage site dedicated to the goddess Kamakhya. Perched atop Nilachal Hill, the temple offers panoramic views of the city and the Brahmaputra River. We then take a serene sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra, where we witness the golden hues of twilight painting the sky.


Kaziranga National Park - Land of the One-Horned Rhino


Our journey takes us to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the iconic one-horned rhinoceros. We embark on an exhilarating jeep safari through the dense forests and grasslands of Kaziranga, keeping an eye out for the diverse wildlife that inhabits the park, including tigers, elephants, and water buffaloes. We also visit the picturesque tea gardens and tribal villages surrounding the park, immersing ourselves in the rich culture and heritage of Assam.


Majuli - Island of Tranquility


Next, we journey to Majuli, the largest river island in the world and a haven of peace and tranquility. We explore the rustic villages and vibrant monasteries that dot the island, getting a glimpse into the unique way of life of the Mishing and Deori tribes. We also witness the mesmerizing Raas Leela performances, a traditional dance form that celebrates the love story of Lord Krishna and Radha.



Jorhat - Tea Capital of Assam


Our expedition continues to Jorhat, the bustling tea capital of Assam and home to some of the finest tea estates in the world. We visit a local tea estate to learn about the process of tea cultivation, from plucking the tender leaves to processing and packaging the final product. We indulge in a traditional Assamese tea ceremony, savoring the rich flavors and aromas of freshly brewed Assam tea.


Sivasagar - Legacy of the Ahom Kings


We journey to Sivasagar, the ancient capital of the Ahom kingdom and home to a wealth of historical landmarks. We explore the majestic Ahom monuments, including the iconic Rang Ghar, the tallest freestanding amphitheater in Asia, and the elegant Talatal Ghar, a sprawling palace complex with intricate underground passages. We also visit the serene Sivasagar Tank and the ancient temples that surround it, marveling at the architectural grandeur of the region.


Tezpur - Gateway to Arunachal Pradesh


Our adventure takes us to Tezpur, a picturesque town nestled on the banks of the Brahmaputra River and the gateway to the neighboring state of Arunachal Pradesh. We explore the historic landmarks of Tezpur, including the majestic Agnigarh Fort, the serene Mahabhairab Temple, and the lush botanical gardens of Cole Park. We also take a leisurely stroll along the scenic banks of the Brahmaputra, soaking in the breathtaking views of the river and the surrounding hills.


Dibrugarh - Land of the Rising Sun


Our journey through Assam concludes in Dibrugarh, known as the "Tea City of India" and the easternmost city in Assam. We visit a tea factory to witness the process of tea production firsthand, from withering and rolling to drying and packaging. We then embark on a serene river cruise along the Brahmaputra, where we witness the breathtaking beauty of the sunrise over the mighty river, bidding farewell to the enchanting landscapes and warm hospitality of Assam, carrying with us memories of a journey that touched the soul and inspired the spirit.
